Casting
Considering that most of the film cast was held over from the Arts-on-Foot reading, final casting proved to be quite a challenge.
Rehearsals
Only three of the film's cast members, Aaron, Justin and Lorenzo, were completely new to the play. Everyone else had appeared in earlier readings.

Due to the "guerilla-style" shooting on location, staging had to be reimagined on the fly, depending on what was happening around us.

Marie H. Reed School and Recreation Center in Washington, DC has since been drastically remodeled, so our filming locations are barely recognizable to visitors today.
