"Chump ChangeS"
Hard to believe it was over 20 years ago, late-August, 2005…that ACT began an experiment to film our play, “Chump ChangeS.”
While devising a way to commemorate that milestone, and celebrate our intrepid cast, we began digging through old notes, scripts and videos. Before long, the memories: some happy/funny, some frustrating /even frightening, some bittersweet, some downright sad…
all started to come flooding back.
It seems as good a time as any to start our… “Chump" Chronicles,
looking back on all the events of that fateful summer and fall.
I remember thinking, “Just keep it simple, and this should be pretty straightforward, even easy.”
I figured we’d be all finished in a few weeks or so. As usual, I was wrong...

There was virtually no money, but thanks to commitment of our generous and talented cast, we were - literally - able to make something from nothing.
